About
Cook_inc. is a transmedia ecosystem founded on the belief that food is a powerful lens for exploring culture, history, and identity from fresh and unexpected angles – all told through long-form, quality journalism.
Our story started in 2011 in the Tuscan countryside with the indie print magazine Cook_inc. – a quarterly publication with the depth of a book and the spirit of a magazine. Over time, our editorial journey expanded to include books, mini-documentaries, a festival celebrating culture’s universal languages, and, most recently, an online magazine – now available in English too!
We balance independence, local roots, and global reach. From Lucca, home to our headquarters, graphic studio, and printing house, we tell stories that resonate worldwide, supported by an international network of collaborators. Our approach to food and wine is holistic, international, and multidisciplinary.
Cook_inc. stands for inclusive: inclusion shapes how we think and create meaningful value. We believe every voice and perspective deserves a seat at the table, and we strive to portray food as a universal language that unites. We explore vibrant culinary scenes, but above all, the passionate people who pour their soul into them.
We are four partners, working alongside a network of collaborators from around the world. Our graphic designer is Giulia Vigna and our current intern is Marika Quaglio.

The contributors to Cook_inc. are, above all, people we genuinely enjoy working with. If you want to learn more about them or explore their work with us, you’ve come to the right place.
